2021 Virtual Black History Month Celebration

“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there “is” such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”  -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (1967)

2021 Virtual Black History Month Celebration

Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.

The 2021 MLK Virtual Black History Month Celebration is continuing with our theme “The Fierce Urgency of Now.”

It is our benevolent duty to advocate for the underserved, the poor, the homeless and our precious seniors as we believe we must come together as a community and respectfully have those difficult conversations and work together for solutions.

This event is a 2-part special which will air online February 12 and February 19, 2021. Please check here for links.
