On Saturday, September 14, we hosted the 2nd Annual Can We Talk Youth Conference, which was a free event for high school students in grades 9-12.

Students participated in several workshops and breakout sessions including Understanding Your Rights, the Importance of Higher Education, and Adulting 101.

Special guests included Richard Miles, Miles of Freedom; Lynn Richardson, Dallas County Public Defender; Tristen Paige, Turning Paiges; Joseph Thomas, City of Dallas; Tammy Johnson, Empowering the Masses; Forrest Jackson, Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity; Earlyshia Thomas, Choose You Foundation; and Torian Stencer, Founder of Yes Thrive.
