Winter Warmup

Give the gift of warmth this winter!

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center’s annual Winter Warmup is a community-based effort to provide new coats, hats, and gloves to children and families in need.

Registration is Closed/La inscripción está cerrada

Individuals/families can sign up to receive a free coat for school age children, ages 3-18 years old.

Limit 3 coats per household and 2 families per car during the distribution.

You must be registered to participate.

La inscripción en línea comenzará el 18 de noviembre de 2025 a las 10 a.m. Por favor, complete el siguiente formulario.

Las personas/familias pueden inscribirse para recibir un abrigo gratis para niños de 3 años a 18 años.

Coat Distribution

Distribution will take place on December 20, 2025, at 10 A.M., at the MLK, Jr. Community Center, located at 2922 MLK, Jr. Blvd, Dallas, TX 75215. This will be a drive-through event.

If you are unable to attend the drive-through event, you may pick up your coat on Monday, December 23, by close of business (5 p.m.).

Distribucion se tomara a cabo el 20 de Diciembre, 2025 a las 10:00 A.M. en el Centro Comunitario MLK Jr., localizado 2922 MLK, Jr. Blvd., Dallas, TX 75215. Será por auto-servicio.

Si no puede asistir al evento de autoservicio, puede recoger su abrigo el lunes 23 de diciembre antes del cierre del horario comercial (5 p.m.).

We are accepting donations of new coats, hats, and gloves, socks, sleeping bags, and blankets, which can be delivered to the MLK, Jr. Community Center Administration Building.
