The 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Gala took place on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The Awards Gala featured Keynote Speaker Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, an invocation by Most Reverend Edward J. Burns,  and a special performance by Crystal Aikin, winner of Sunday Best.

This year’s theme was “Reconciliation: Moving the Dream Forward.”
